NF3 PSEUDO-LINELIST Voltaire Velazco and Geoff Toon INTRODUCTION. This document gives information on the NF3 pseudo-linelist derived at JPL in Oct 2008. The linelist was created based on figures in the paper from Molina et al., [1995]. DESCRIPTION. First, figure 3 (lower) of Molina et al., 1995 was digitized to a point spacing of 0.01 cm-1 ranging from 870 to 930 cm-1. The band is centered at about 910 cm-1. Its rotational structure is partially resolvable even in the presence of an atmospheric buffer gas. For the measurements, Molina et al., 1995 used a cell with a 15.45 cm path length and measured with a resolution of 0.09 cm-1. Helium was used as a buffer gas (more details can be found in the paper). For now, we assigned a E"=300 for each line, since we do not sufficient knowledge on the temperature dependence of NF3. The line strengths were adjusted by multiplying 1.7495 to match the revised integrated band strengths provided by Robson, et al., 2006. We did not based the linelist on the Robson et al. data themselves because their spectral resolution (0.5 cm-1) is insufficient to resolve the rotational structure in the R-branch. The following fundamental vibrational band frequencies and degeneracies were assumed for the four fundamental bands (Wilson & Polo, 1952): Band | nu1 nu2 nu3 nu4 freq. | 1032 647 905 493 degen | 1 1 2 2 ACKNOWLEDGMENTS. We would like to thank Skye Aaron from the JPL summer student program, for helping with the digitization of the NF3 band. REFERENCES. Molina L. T., P. J. Woolridge, M. J.
