Meeting Location

The InfraRed Working Group (IRWG) of the Network for Detection of Atmospheric Composition Change (NDACC) organizes annual meetings. The next NDACC-IRWG meeting will take place at the Courtyard Marriott hotel, Pasadena, California, May 12-14, 2008.

The Courtyard Marriott hotel is located close to "Old Town" Pasadena.

Accommodation

At Courtyard Marriott, 30 rooms will be blocked until April 14, 2008. A special meeting rate of $149 US per night (approx 95 Euro) including a full breakfast and free internet access. For US Government employees, a small number (5) of US Govt rates are available (without breakfast). There will also be taxes of ~15% bringing the total room charge to $171.55 per night. Bookings can be made directly with the hotel by phone. Please state that you are part of the NDACC group to obtain the rates quoted above.

For those of you who wish to make your hotel reservations by internet, the Courtyard-Marriott hotel have set up a Special NDACC webpage for our use.

Please make your reservation before April 14, 2008. Please let Geoff Toon know when you have made a reservation.
 

Smoking

Like many hotels in Pasadena, the Courtyard Marriott is entirely non-smoking. Pasadena has strict anti-smoking laws. Smoking is banned in all indoor public places. It is also banned in many outdoor places including parks, gardens, near schools and at sporting events. If anybody would like a smoking hotel, please let me know.
