Pressure and Temperature retrieved from on-board data. The sun and warm air from the gondola cause high readings (by up to 20K) in the 1-sec T data. To attempt to retrieve an appropriate ambient profile, the 1-sec data were averaged over 5 sec, and then for each 100 sec interval (20 5-sec averages) the lowest T was found, along with the corresponding P (also 5-sec avg) and UT time. These are listed below. The derived "minimum-T" data follow the lower edge of the 1-sec data, with a small number of points still contaminated. These obviously bad points have been deleted, but some high points may still remain. The 4th column is the Sun Sensor reading, which is 0 in the dark, 10 full scale (full overhead sun). The sensor is uplooking, so readings for the low sun angles from Kiruna are fairly low. The full 1-sec temperature data are available on request.
